Hello Neopians!

We just wanted to provide a few updates on restocking! As some of you may know, a couple of weeks ago now we released an update that brought our restocking code more in line with the traditional Neopets restocking method as it worked back in the day.

Following this change we've been attempting to balance out the frequency that higher rarity items stock at. It may come as no surprise to those of you who restock on a regular basis that it's been a struggle thus far! However we thank you for your patience and you can rest assured that after this most recent adjustment we're close to honing in roughly where we were before the change.

We've also tweaked the way restock bans work. While we won't be giving away any specifics in order to ensure fairness we can confirm that there's now a maximum length to bans! Each time you buy a high rarity item, if you're banned it'll weigh how many other high rarity purchases you've made throughout the day in order to determine a length. This does include a small chance of being banned when purchasing r90-97 items. We're hoping that this change helps spread users out a bit more while preventing any mind boggling bans such as 24 hours.

We'll be keeping an eye out on the NeoBoards and our Discord server for any feedback you send our way regarding these changes!

With the arrival of the new year comes the end of the holiday season, but in Neopia the celebrations are just getting started! Come one, come all to Neopets Classic’s first annual Novafall Festival!!!

Every year, when the winter chill sets in, the ambient magic of Neopia consolidates and falls from the sky, forming the Motes we know today, Novas! Neopia Central is special, as this is the only place in all of Neopia where whole Novas fall, and as such, the land itself is infused with all kinds of magic- in fact, this magic is what causes the Rainbow Pool to flow- and the first community of Neopians was formed around it!

So, every year, when the Novas fall from the sky, Neopians gather in Neopia Central to make wishes and celebrate the rainbow of colours that Neopians can be! From Grarrls to Kacheeks, from Grey to Fire, from the biney to nonbiney and everything in between, this celebration is for neopets everywhere!!

The magic may be strongest in Neopia Central but the celebrations extend all around Neopia!! You will find Nova Geodes falling from the sky, you might fish a few up from the sea, or you may even receive some from a quest or daily! These geodes will be stored in your event pouch and can be exchanged for some neat prizes, so collect as many of these pretty little stones as you can!

Nova Geodes can be exchanged for prizes right in Neopia Central! The Rainbow Pool is the first place, although something is quite different about these magical pools at this time of year! The Fountain Faerie is here visiting for the duration of the festival, basking in the magical waters and collecting magical Nova Geodes to boost the waters’ powers even further! In exchange for your donation of 10 Nova Geodes to the pool, the Fountain Faerie will grant you 1 random prize from any tier of the Novafall prize shop!

You can pay her a visit each and every day for a random Celebration Gift Box with a special prize waiting for you and your pets inside! There are 4 different boxes this year, and the colours being recognised should look very familiar. New Angel, Copper, Pastel, and Sketch pets have already been introduced to the site and you can expect a few more in the coming weeks!! Be sure to stop by each day if possible to try and collect all of the exciting new items celebrating these fabulous colours!

At the end of Novafall, the Fountain Faerie will use the magical boost from all of the collected geodes to grant 3 random users their complete dream pet!!! This magical gift includes any non-taken name, any obtainable or zappable Petpet, and any colour or species!! How generous is she!?! Stay tuned for more information on how to enter to win!!!

Kauvara's Magic Shop will be the second place to exchange your Nova Geodes for items… eventually that is! She would like something in return first. Novafall is about coming together to celebrate differences, similarities, and everything in between. It’s a time of giving and spreading kindness all over Neopia. Each year, Kauvara hosts a Toy Drive to collect toys, grooming items, plushies, books, Petpets, and more for Neopets in need!

To unlock her prize shop, the community must first meet her donation goal! Only then will she be satisfied with her contribution to Novafall and be ready to open for business! You can donate items to the Toy Drive by visiting Kauvara’s Magic Shop! You can donate up to 25 items per day in exchange for Supernova Geodes, and some items are worth more than others, so grab your generous spirit and get donating!

Should the community fail to reach her goal, Kauvara will use a magical spell to turn all Supernova Geodes into regular Nova Geodes so that users can exchangethem with the Fountain Faerie! If the shop opens there will also be an option to exchange any remaining regular Nova Geodes for Supernova Geodes!

NOTICE : These activities should be completed on your main account ONLY! Any geodes gained on side accounts should not be exchanged for prizes. Doing so will be grounds for freezing!
